To avoid this problem in the future, change your batteries every six months or so, even if you don't use the safe that often. Hi again, I also wanted to mention that the yellow low battery light does not always come on to warn you that the batteries are losing power, if they still have a small amount of 'juice' left in them. If your safe also came with a key, make sure to use the key first, to pop out the cylinder, the remove the key before entering your combination. Slide battery cover back in place If you are sure of your combination, replacing the batteries should enable you to open your safe.
